客席指揮范燾是國家一級指揮，並由一九九五年起擔任中國廣播藝術團電影交響樂團常任指揮。范氏畢業於上海音樂學院作曲指揮系，師從著名指揮家及教育家黃曉同，亦曾赴美跟隨著名指揮教育家司布真深造。范氏的指揮細膩，技術嫺熟，充滿激情並富有張力，是一位才華橫溢的傑出指揮家。他曾先後執棒芬蘭國家廣播樂團、哥倫比亞國家愛樂樂團、美國奧柏林交響樂團等多個國內外樂團，並與眾多優秀獨奏家合作。他還錄製了大量唱片和影視音樂，包括與中國廣播民樂團錄製的《黃河》及《梁祝》等，贏得二零零七年十大發燒唱片榜年度最佳指揮獎的殊榮。

Guest conductor Fan Tao holds the rank of National Class One Conductor in China. He graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and studied composition and conducting under the famous conductor and teacher Huang Xiaotong, as well as under renowned conductor and educator Philip Spurgeon in the United States. Fan has been praised for performances characterised by insight, conviction, powerful sound and expansive phrasing. At the International Sibelius Conductors' Competition held in Finland in May 2000, Fan was awarded a special prize, donated by the Sibelius Estate, which enabled him to receive a masterclass with Esa-Pekka Salonen.
